i have aquired a new bta. i was just woundering if i was taking the right steps in keeping it healthy. i watch the levels of the water very closely(do my water changes when needed). my nitrate and ammonia levels are at 0. i also feed it every 4-5 days with dried shrimp. its very neet how they eat.i also have a t5 high output light with 2 actinic lights, 2 12000k lights, and 4 lcd lights. here are a couple of photos:

Tank stability and strong lighting is what nems need the most. Sounds like you are off to a good start. I have found that my nems respond best when the salinity is 1.026. I'm not sure what "dried shrimp" is. Freeze dried? I've never fed my animals freeze dried stuff, but I find my nems have done best on a variety of fresh or frozen meatier seafoods. Feed only a pea-sized amount at a time. I like to feed twice a week.
