New 150 gallon reef

This weekend I started to think about what I am going to put in my new 150 gallon SPS/LPS reef tank as far as fish.
What do you guys think about pigmy/dwarf angles in a reef?

Also I am going to try an all PVC system this time, a friend of mine gave me a hot tub pump, 4500 GPH
It might be closer to the 5000 GPH mark. Not sure yet though.
I was thinking 6 to 8 outlets back into the tank, and a whole lot of gate valves. What do you think is this going to be too much water movement????
I always thought "the more the better"

Thanks for your info. in advance.

with that kind of flow SPS will love it. i would sugest a bypass pipe that would let you retun unneeded flow back to the sump without going to the tank. this way you can back off flow without putting backpressure on the pump.

Thanks, I will find out if the pump can handle it.

I was just thinking, what if the pump ever kicked it :bouncebox , I would have to redo the entire PVC set up. Hmmmmmm, Well I will just have to think on this one.

Thanks for the reply guys.

Just make sure you put a couple of union fittings on both sides of the pump installation when using PVC... This is so if the pump ever did kick it, you can just put another pump right in by adding the other of half of the union.
