I'd like to mention that it's only been a few weeks since I introduced the H. chyrsus to my tank, and I have already noticed a 50% or more decrease in planaria!

I have not started doing anything different to the tank, only doing one water change since adding (3 weeks ago now, water change due today hopefully). Feeding is the same few times a week, topoffs occurring the same also.

The single water change was a day after the fish was introduced, in order to thin out the red planaria population. Since then, they have not even been very noticeable whereas before they overran 75% of the tank's surfaces. After a 2 week time period, about all you were able to see were flatworms.

I have to admit I was super skeptical that the H crysus would be of much help, but I have a renewed outlook on them now! WOW.
