Need a new skimmer pump ASAP!!!

HELP - PLEASE


I have a Sapphire Aquatics AP24 skimmer. This is one of the earlier versions that sints completely inside the back chamber of the CurrentUSA AquaPod 24. The pump is the one that has the little grey slide switch to control the bubble intensity.

Due to increasing algae problems - along with reduced bubble production - I assume the pump that's in year (almost 3 years old) is not working as efficiently as it use to. Problem is, the Sapphire Aquatics guy is out of business. Does anyone know who makes the pump? Maybe I can buy it direct from the mfr? I can't find any markings on the pump.

Hi Tom,

That link doesn't work, and I recall even when it did they only sold skimmer pumps for their most recent skimmers which don't fit mine...

More searching and found your pump is a Sicce Nova Only places I found selling it are in the UK. Here is a link.

NOVA is a fully submergible pump driven by a permanent magnet type synchronous motor
