i guess i'll go ahead and say hi, my name's kevin and i go to NCSU. i've been keeping freshwater fish for a while, i have a 37g with a red cap oranda and two calico fantail goldfish.
i bought a 12g aquapod for my girlfriend about a month ago and have been hooked on it ever since. we'll call it "her" tank, but i know whose it really is. so far i've got about 13lbs of LR in and my cycle is almost complete. i just bought a turbo snail, emerald crab, two red hermits, and a peppermint shrimp to clean up all the algae growth. when i move after summer i might start up my own or swap my 37 over. hope to find lots of help around here, looks like a good place to find some info.
