Just thought I would share a few images and a short story about my baby maroon clown "tiny"
My maroon clowns spawn frequently, and I have only tried to raise a few times. With the spawn that Tiny was apart of I was actually trying to raise false percs along with maroons. Early on I was fighting high ammonia levels, and could not reason why. I was doing water changes constantly, multiple each day. Well my wife finally came up with the suggestion, "how about your phyto"? Well it was the phyto, ammonia levels off of the chart. Every time I did a water change I had to put in phyto, I did not want my rotifers malnourished.
By the time my levels were in line I was down to 1. Since then I have been doing all of the work of raising clowns for one fish. I must have a few screws loose. He is way to small for any of my systems. I am afraid he would be eaten or get caught up in a PH.
