I have a 75 Gallons display refugium and it makes quite an impression on my guest when they see it live. Particularly thos who are about to set up tanks. They usually change their plans to include one after seing mine. i end up selling them some species.

A lot of people view the refugium as passer or more trouble than it is worth but seing a display one usually makes them appreciate what a beautifull thing it can become and how it can contribute to an ecosystem . So a thread with people's projects or plans for one or just their present set ups might help others get there. Exchange of info gets things going faster and with less aggravation.

The refugium is seperated in two , one side for seahorses the other for an angler or frogfish.

Well i found these 2 products that are specific to macro's , helpfull to corals as well in some fashion but one is design for macroalgae.

This one contains, Manganese, not Magnesium as i had to tell the clerk 25 times and still couldn't spell it....Probably left high school too fast... Manganese for algae ( Mn) on the periodic table a transition metal, Magnesium for corals, (Mg) an Alki earth metal,

Well my research has brought me to these two components, their were others but over dosing is not a good idea. I've contacted the seller of my macroalgae and they're sending their parameters at which they keep their stocks to help me keep mine. Imagine that having water too clean lol.

And iodine and iodide for your red macroalgaes before they loose their bright red colors.

Mine started out looking like this:

But it dang sure don't look like that NOW...
It's FULL of Chaeto & Red Dragon's Breath to the max.
They fill up FAST after the macro starts growing like crazy.

This is really amazing I've been working on setting up a fuge but space was limited under the tank and now I kind of want to build a display one next to it. Thanks so much for this post
