I have a 35 gallon tank that is growing alot of Hair & turf algae. In my other tank I have a yellow tang. First question - would the tang eat those algaes and 2nd - is it too stressful for the tang to move and be in a small tank while he eats the algae? I've been thinking about putting him in there for awhile, but can't decide. Any input?

That tank is way too small for all but the smallest of tangs. You may get away with it for a short time, but the stress of changing tanks might be too much for the tang. Have you tried a lawnmower blenny? They often will take care of a hair algae problem, but, you should instead, find the cause of the hair algae, and eliminate that, then run some rowaphos or phosban, and starve the hair algae out of the tank.
