Max S-500 - Media in Concealed Rear Circulation pump space?

I have been thinking of moving my "Marine Pure" spheres up into the rear compartment where circulation pumps are.
Has any one else tried this?
Thought I might as well take advantage of the wasted space. That way have more room in my sump to add more live rock or other equipment.
I cant think of any problems with this, gets plenty of flow back there.
Love to hear from anyone who has tried this.......Pro's and Con's?

Ok so seems no one has tried this or just cant be bothered replying.
Well I've done it any way over the weekend and working great!! Freed up space for more LR and a rack for frags in my sump.
I will be adding even more marine pure spheres to back now as theres still heaps of room.

I can only speak for myself but I did not reply because I have not done it and really could not say how affective or ineffective it would be. That being said, I assume anywhere you can put media bags that is assured to have water flowing through them is a good place I guess.
