This may go down in history as the slowest build ever. But right when I was gaining momentum with the tank I relocated to a different state for a new job. Anyway now that I've been settled for a few months I have begun to tinker with it again. Latest updates: Framed out the section of wood I had to cut out of the stand's side as an access panel to get the sump in and out so it didn't look so bad
. Also finally ordered a RO/DI unit so I can begin to cure the live rock I had been using in my old tank. Believe me when I say this rock was dirty! It has be in and out of my main tank and through many crashes as it was left behind when I went to college and moved out of my parents house, (almost a decade now yikes!) I gave it a good srub down with a wire brush and will let it sit in my make shift "cure tank" to try and get out its years of buildup.
