Macro algae

Hi all,

I decided to try a little macro algae in the sump, I'm limited with space and the amount i can grow will probably have minimal effect on anything.

But, can anyone see a problem with the way i have things setup.

In the overflow chamber i have chaeto.
In the 2nd chamber in place of a filter sock i have some caulerpa
In the 3rd chamber in place of a sock i have some live rock (only reason it's there is because i use bits occasionally for frags)

I don't see any problems as such, provided to trim it back as needed and make sure it doesn't create a dirt trap.

I do tend to agree with you in that it may not do much. If you do see some effect, then consider adding a larger refugium to house your macro algae.
