I let Mayja take all the pics ,,, had a great time at MACNA ,,, I won a ORA 5 coral pack at the raffle and bought a nice SPS from JJ or as some know him Jared of My Reef to Yours and am doing an experiment ,, I arrived in Estes Park CO on the Sat before MACNA and went to the rocky Mnt national park and spent 3 nites there staying in our travel trailer at the KOA campground,, then moved to t he KOA Denver west campground which is approx 30 miles west of Denver we spent Tues and Wed nite there and went to the Denver zoo and then rode the Georgetown loop train which took almost all day on Wed ,,, then on Thurs we moved again to Denver East KOA campground and after set up went to the downtown area where MACNA was being held so I would know where to go Fri morning and also the Denver Aquarium is located very close so we went there also and early registered for MACNA ,,,,,,, anyway for the experiment I brought 2, 5 gal buckets of water ,, one with 5 gal of RO/DI water and one with 5 gals of water from my display tank with an battery powered air pump and an electric air pump and one well cycled sponge filter and a 5 gal glass tank with heater ,power head, and led strip light and kept it in the bathtub untill needed ,,,,,,,, then on Fri I bought a SPS coral from JJ at his booth and brought it back and set up the small aquarium on the table , then Sun won the 5 coral pack from ORA and added them Sun nite ,, I left the lite on all nite after acclimating them in till Mon morning then we loaded up and I puit them back into the the 5 gal bucket and we headed for Mnt Rushmore SD ,, after 388 miles we arrived at approx 4 pm and I set up the trailer and then got the 5 gal bucket out and re set up the aquarium with the corals ,, so as of Mon evening they look great with 5 sps coral and one gorgonian and all have full polyp extension, in the morning they will get a blast of morning sun so should be happy ,,, so so far so good,, plan on getting home late Wed or early Thurs
