is there any way humanly or in this case coraly possible that a lobo can live without an extoskeleton? ex. just its super thick meaty body if it attaches to a rock?

I'd like to say in your dreams... more so cause that's exactly what I was hoping for aswell.
Have one still going strong about 6 months now after it gave up on the skeleton, but geez I don't see it remotely coming back with a skeleton. I have it in a corner, behind a rock protected from the flow, it inflates when the lights are on and deflates when they go off. But looks more like a down hill battle.
Pls update if you have different observations.
