Live rock turning white

It appears that my live rock is turning white, like the coraline algae is dying off. I am not sure what could be causing this, my water parameters are below..the only thing I can tell is that maybe my ALK is low? I do have a red algae breakout on my sand and rock. My Algae Turf Scrubber is new and in development phase, trying to tweak it so it is working properly, probably why the red algae. Any ideas why this might be happening alll of a sudden, about a week ago it started.

Temp: 78
Salinity 53 ms
Nitrates < 5 meq/L

Phosphates 1.0 meq/L
ALK: Total Alk = 2.5 meq/L, Borate Alk 1 meq/L, Carbonate Alk 1.0
Calcium 450 by LFS, Red Sea test tested 550 (bad test kits)

If the rock was exposed to air the Coraline can die off but it will return.
