Like the look of 20K

I like the look of a 20k bulb, but am having a hard time finding a 96w PC bulb in 20k that will fit my Coralife Aqualight. When I bought the Aqualight, it came with one 96W 10K and one Actinic bulb. I thought the 10k was to white. I wanted to try a 20k with the actinic, but like I said, I can't find a 20k bulb. Does anyone know of another bulb combination that I could try that will give a similar appearance to the 20k and actinic?

2 actinics/03 bulbs? that would be really blue. If you do go with 2 blues... Keep an eye on your corals to make sure they stay happy (receive enough intensity).

I don't follow what your saying Wood, is the 20K considered actinic?

no,,,actinics are not 20k...but ive asked a few folks as has Woody, but 20k pc are not to be found. i dont know if you will be able to fine it..but keep trying.

newsalt - they do not manufacture any PC bulbs in 20K, they only comes in Daylight (10,000K), Actinic blue and Actinic 03. if you want a 20K look, you will have to go with metal halides. hope this helps.
