Hey everyone, just curious as to what your order of process is when beginning a new tank.

I've read and read and read, and consulted with owners of my LFS, and read some more. So I'm pretty set on how to go about it. However, I'd be interested on hearing how you go about setting up your tank.

Just a brief description will suffice. You don't need to post how to cycle a tank, there's plenty of posts for that already (all fantastic btw).

Not sure what you are looking for here.
Tank, then LR, then sand if desired followed by pre-mixed NSW. Wait for amonia and nitrite to spike and fall to 0 then do a water change and add a CUC.
