LED lights? Yes? No?

I have a 24 gallon aquapod with 150 watt 20,000k MH light with 2 blue t5 4watt actinics. Sps and soft coral. Wondering if i should get some kind of LED lights for night time or something. If so any suggestions on some with a decent price ? :weird: thanks!

Yeah i think i was looking at that one a little bit the other day. I was thinking just some blue ones for night or something.

If you're just looking for moonlights, any commercially available LED moonlight kit would work. I would not use any high-powered LED lights at night. Fish and even corals need a break from intense light and the night allows this.

I'm not very educated in the LED area if you can't tell haha. What kind would you suggest for moonlight ?

This is also a quick easy project, though I worry about the longevity of the LEDs with no current limiting. The sky's the limit pretty much, moonlights are not necessary so whatever looks good, as long as it's not too bright.
