is my snail dead i seen him on the power head.stck on the intake.my brother in law turned off the p.h..he fell to the bottom..i just got a call at work saying its on the botton and one of his lips is black ..,what 4?

I don't understand what you mean when you say 'one of it's lips is black' But if it's extended from it's shell and not moving it's dead. Or if it's still in the same spot and hasn't move in awhile there's a good chance it's dead.

most snails can't right themselves, so if they are on their "backs" for any great length of time...DOA! Sorry
