I posted a couple of weeks ago about having to start my 90 gal over again because of the presence of ich. All my recently purchased fish have died and am left with most of the originals that went through the cycling. I'm setting up other smaller tanks so I can dismantle and start over.

My question is what does the parasite look like? My 90 is still running until I get everything ready and Im am seeing little white spots, almost worm looking crawling on the glass. They just appear last week but now there are more. They are extremely small and without a magnifying glass you can't really tell they are actually alive and moving..

any thoughts out there of what these could be? Bad or Good?

ich is just a ciliated protozoan. there are several strains. you will not be able to see them with the naked eye. but they can not live without a host for long. leaving the tank fishless for 45+ days should render the tank ich~less.

do you have s pic of these white worms, dot things. its not ich forsure?
