It's in a 55 with coralife compacts in with 4 bulbs two actnic and two white

PC bulbs might be a bit weak on the bottom. Most prefe the sand bed but if he's doing fine on the rock just leave him and like ost911 said be careful not to scrape him against the rocks.

I could have said that, but I like to leave that to the readers imagination. After all there have been more than a "few" suggested areas as to where some people keep their brains. (grin)

anatomical revision/reversal is challenging for some, more Dave MORE lol
as to the brain placement in question, risky,risky,risky! try a piece of pvc tube stuck to the rock with epoxy putty, you cannot allow the meat to chafe.

I've had an open brain on the sandbed in a deeper tank with the same PC lights. With the nova, I'd definitely put it on the sand bed.
