Is it possilble to mod my lighting system?

I have some 218 watt nova extreme 48" t5 that I want to take appart and aDd individual reflectors and put under my canopy. Would whis work? Or could I just add the individual reflectors to the lighting fixture itself? Thanks for any advise.

it would work

will not be the safest thing to have but it will work, i did that with two old PC fixtures. Heres the catch, the end caps within the fixture are not waterproof and will not securely hold the bulb in there. Honestly your best bet would be to take some highly reflective strips of metal and put them between each bulb but even then you are taking a risk due to the material not being reflective enough and being able to fit within the fixture.

So it can ve done and all I need to do is make sure it's water safe? I could change the end caps and buy new reflectors. Anyone else. J will check out diyreef.com. Thanks
