Is It Normal For Leather To Swell At Night

Ive noticed that my new leather swells up at night is this normal the stem swells almost twice its size :drooool:

This is durring the Day and second pic is at night notice the swelling in the base.

I'd say that's normal, just retracting the polyps and all curled up for nighty-night.

I havent added any fish and I wont for a while so there isint much stuff in the water for the leather is there any thing I should do for feeding purposes I have Two 250W 14K MH and Two Actinic T5 My calcium is 450 so I havent added any thing. I was told to add Ecosystems Reef Solution is anyone familiar with this product.

I think that most leather corals get their nutrition throuch light and dissolved particulate absorption. Most of the stuff that you may try to add to the tank to feed these guys would be too big for them to handle. I personally wouldn't add anything to try to feed the leather at this point.

As for Ecosystems Reef Solution, I'm not familiar enough with the product to give an opinion.
