I also have a sump design question....

I am currently designing a sump to be built (not by me, by a professional ;) ) to fit IN my biocube stand. So it needed to be a specific size, and I used melev's reef to aid, along with many other sump designs, etc.....

I wanted to have a seperate compartment for the 1) return pump area, 2) skimmer, 3) Fuge. But only had 18"x 16 X 16 to do so. Here is what I came up with:

2 questions- 1) Do you think this design will work? 2) What would you do differently?

This is the 4th one I have come up with, all of which are different, but this one being the best, and the one I like the most. I want people to be honest :)

**NOTE: water from the tank will be tee'd off that goes like: DT<return<Fuge<Tee>Filter sock>skimmer>return>DT, if that makes sense.....

i like it... looks nice....you might want your baffles a little taller to allow you more volume in the return area. you can always add something under your pump to lessen the maximum volume allowed to go to the display tank in case your drain plugs.
