I am currently designing a sump to be built (not by me, by a professional 
) to fit IN my biocube stand. So it needed to be a specific size, and I used melev's reef to aid, along with many other sump designs, etc.....
I wanted to have a seperate compartment for the 1) return pump area, 2) skimmer, 3) Fuge. But only had 18"x 16 X 16 to do so. Here is what I came up with:
2 questions- 1) Do you think this design will work? 2) What would you do differently?
This is the 4th one I have come up with, all of which are different, but this one being the best, and the one I like the most. I want people to be honest
**NOTE: water from the tank will be tee'd off that goes like: DT<return<Fuge<Tee>Filter sock>skimmer>return>DT, if that makes sense.....
