OK...after thorough reasearch (and some help from my friends here at RS), i have decided on my final fish.

Currently have a tomato and a true perc, a gramma and a hawkfish.

Getting: rounding out the pack with a powder brown (japonicas ), a longnose butterfly and a flame angel an d red mandarin.

Have like 170 pounds of rock and a 4-5 inch DSB..

Problems,
concerns,
Have at em

I would replace the powder brown with any other tang. I had problems with mine. Loved to fight too much so I had to give it away. Pacific Blue tangs ROCK!@:D

Sunnyx,
Have heard the same thing as well...people say the japopnicas is much better than the nigricans....do you know which kind it was that you had?

Becareful with the flame angels if you have any LPS corals or clams.
They are very prone to eating brain corals and other LPS, as well as nipping clam mantles. Flame angels are more apt to do this than say a coral beauty. Even if you keep them well feed they can kill some very expensive corals or clams.
And don't plan on seeing those tiny feather dusters in your live rock anymore with a longnose butterfly in there. I do like the l/n b/fly though. Apparently one of the more reef safe butterfly fish.
I don't really have much input on A.japonicus.
I persoanlly like the Zebrasomas better :D
