Hitchhiker Zoanthid Identification.

These showed up almost three years ago. They've had a rough time. I thought my Raccoon Butterfly did them in once. They were back down to just a couple. They're in my reef tank now, so I'm a little surprised that they're doing so well. Growing off the rock onto the sand. Thinking about fragging them.

My question is: Are these common Zoanthids that have already been named and just run of the mill, or what?

I had the rocks imported from Vanuatu almost three years ago. These showed up about nine months later.

I'm sorry, the glass is dirty.

They certainly look pretty! Off the top of my head I can't pick a name but I'm no zoa guy so that may not mean much :)

Just come up with you own name and start peddling them. Call 'em "Eye of Neptune" or something like that...
