So I been looking on the forum for quite some time just signed up and started posting maybe a month or so ago first saltwater reef tank set up about 3 months ago will post pictures when I get a good camera and such but its coming along and im enjoying the hobby/job that takes money lol. Just looking to see if there is anyone on the forums that is in the area of jointbase lewis mcchord washington or near olympia all the way north to everret/seattle area. I have meet a few good people in real life that have helped me along and some people on the forum that have given me helpadvice and pointers when I needed it :) which I thank you all for also was looking for some shops around the same area I have been to my wifes work petco lol of course and two others aquarium paradise in lakewood and barrier reef aquariums in renton both very nice stores and helpful too.

So a little about myself my name is ryan. Im 29 yrs old. im a specialist in the army. Married to a very wonderful woman that stares at my tank as much as I do she helps me pick stuff out just mainly its pretty can we get it haha.

I have a 75g craigslist bargain tank.

80+ lbs live rock
60 lbs hawaiian something live sand from caribsea
fluval 405 canister filter
seaclone 100 protein skimmer
2x 150w cobalt neo-therm heaters

1 picasso clownfish
1 flame angel
1 neon dottyback
1 neon goby
1 longhorn cowfish (wife got him from work no returns so had to keep him hes tiny and cute not stressed so no poisons or problems hes a happy little guy and when he gets bigger I will either rehome him or at that point have a bigger tank)
1 6line wrasse
various snails and hermit crabs
1 emerald crab
1 skunk cleaner shrimp
1 diamond watchman goby

corals
various mushrooms that hitch hiked
2 bubble tip anemones one rose one pouting dont know its reg color but the tips are green
buncha frag green pocillapora corals really fuzzy and green lol
1 frag colony of zoanthids
1 tiny pokemon montipora
1 duncan coral frag (is the petstore correct in calling the duncan frag a whisker coral?)

Tank parameters
temp 80°f
sg 1.026 (checked with refractometer and calibrated w/calibration fluid)
Amonia 0
nitrites 0
nitrates 5-20
all lvls are checked weekly and/or daily if a fish is missing for more than a day
salt used kent marine reef salt and seachem reef salt
was using instant ocean marine salt (not reef crystals just the regular stuff) the change from instant ocean to kent reef salt was difference between night and day my mushrooms and zoa/paly hitchhikers perked up I have things coming out of the rock I had never even knew was in there even my 2 bubble tips were like heck yeah gimme more I like this stuff lol

in the process of making a refugium and getting a better skimmer and lights also hoping to get a bigger tank in the future probably a 125-180g but we shall see lol

Hi Ryan I want to start off by saying thank you got your service I too was in but it seems like ages ago..anyway welcome and I'm sure you will find all the help you need here every one is very friendly and willing to help look forward to seeing pics
