Newbie here. Nice to meet you all. I am just getting back into reef tanks after a 12 year hiatus. The first time around was rushed, underinformed and alas I guess you know the rest of the story. Well this time around I have done lots of homework although I would not even attempt to claim knowing it all :angel3: but I feel I am working with a much better base this time around.
Here are my new tank specs. Taking delivery next week after drilling is done
120 gallon Oceanic 44 x 24 x 24
EcoSump 25 gallon sump/refugium
2 each 250 Iwaski MH
2 each 40 watt blue atinic bulbs with Ice Cap ballasts and endcaps
2 each True actinic with same as above
EuroReef needle wheel skimmer model cant remember it is huge tho
Closed loop drilled circulation powered by Ampmaster 3000
Sump return powered by Ampmaster 2100
120 lbs of undecided where to get live rock
Two each Tunze Turbelles for added circulation
Faux 2" live sand bed in the planning
