Hi All

Hey folks,

I have decided to join as I have now entered the world of reef tanks. I have had freshwater setups for 10 years and until yesterday, my baby was a 55 gallon freshwater, live plant, rainbowfish and congo tetra setup.
I was always a bit hesitant to do a salt tank, but my curiosity and (ULP...) skill made me do the inevitable...I started a nano reef tank.

I'll be around.

Namaste, Ian

Welcome, and being a former cichlid breeder I'm betting you'll be either be switching all your tanks to salt or buying bigger within the year its an ADDICTION!!! I gave up smoking so I could afford my tank. LOL:laugh:

Howdy Ian,

Welcome to Reef Sanctuary. :clink:

You're not too far south of me... we just did the Sacramento LFS circuit here last weekend, and you guys have quite a nice selection down there compared to what we have here (I'm in Chico).

Our favorites were Aqua Life (in Rocklin), "O" St. Aquarium, Capitol Aquarium, and Paradise Aquarium. Capitol is a bit odd though... first LFS I've ever been to that you had to take a number and wait in line for help. :D

Once again, welcome aboard. :)
