HELP! Hermit crab

What would the reason be for this crab to keep coming back to the same coral no matter how many times I move him he will keep coming back to the same coral from what I can see there is no damage and no eggs.

Maybe it's getting ready to molt and it needs to find a safe place to do it? The branches of that sps coral do offer some protection..

I didn't think hermit crabs did that I thought they just upgraded to a bigger shell.

Hermit crabs do molt according to what i just read on A other forum.M y hermits also climb all over my corals and dont really do any damage to them,so i would not be to worried about it if i was you.
