Help with AI SOL LED Power Supply

Hi All,

I will kindly appreciate your help on the following:

I’m living Europe and bought in USA 2 AI SOL Blue modules. Unfortunately one of my power supplies just stops working yesterday. I’m overseas working and my wife can’t help pretty much with this problem at home. Is it possible a little help on information about the power adapter so I can try to buy one on ebay and shipped to Portugal, I know is 36VDC 2A but I don’t know the wattage nor the tip size. In Europe is hard to find one with 36VDC.

I would first contact AI support here (offsite) - http://support.aquaillumination.com/home You can do it via email. They should be able to answer your questions much better than anyone here could. Also, they may be able to replace it under warranty.

AI also has an online parts store here (offsite) - http://shop.aquaillumination.com/collections/sol A replacement power supply is $50.

Offhand I think these power supplies are similar to laptop computer power supplies in that they will work with American or European power just be changing the cable the connects it to the outlet.

This would be a much better solution than trying to find a match on eBay.

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply,
I'm trying to go around AI because my lights are already out of warranty.
AI is not well supported in Europe unfortunately.
And to be honest shipping a 50$ part from US is not cost efective due to Costums fees.

I can understand looking for a less expensive part, but I still recommend you email AI and tell them your problem and asq your questions. Worst they can do is ignore your email. Best case is they help you. You have nothing to loose.

should be 75 watts and maybe a iec 320 inlet
