Help Odyssea Skimmer

Odyssea PS75 skimmer.

Hang on back configuration.

Outlet valve wide open.

Cup fills up in about 7 seconds and onto carpet.

Suggestions?

Have no experience with this skimmer. Is it new and has gone thru the break-in period ? Are you able to adjust the water level inside the skimmer ? I would send the manufactorer an e-mail about the problem. I was having a similar problem with my Turbo-flotor and the manufactorer gave me some good tips.

Never mind, I got it.

The outlet valve is odd in that if it is parallel with the spout, it is in off position.

Must be British.
