I personally would never use copper in my reef tank. Never heard any good on it for main display additives. It may have worked in the past for someone but chemical processes and using them often is bad habit. Regular water changes is better. Quarantine. treat fish. wait a month for baby ick to die off in main display and then you can add fish back. Only way.

sicksnoopy71 keep in mind that the FULL life cycle of some varieties of MI is 8 weeks so a 1 month fallow period is about 1/2 of what current specialists are recommending.

You should NEVER use Copper in your DT or anything containing copper especially if it is now or EVER might be a reef/invert tank. Copper is meant to be used in a Hospital Tank only.
