HELP! Help ID this Star

I just noticed this small little star fish in our tank, when I seen my Cardinal's picking at it, probably why it only has 2 and a half legs now, he sure is fast also. What is it and is it harmless to corals, polyps, etc...

Asterina star. Some people consider them to be harmless, but I don't trust them. As soon as one pops up it gets removed ASAP. The links below might help.

In low numbers this star may not cause any issue. If the population grows you may want to consider taking some out of your tank.
