first have to say that iam impressed with this site!!
I have not had much time to poke around but what i have seen is great.
I found this site because i was looking for an answer to a question on google.
This might be the right place to ask so her it is .Iam going on vacation to culebra pr and i want to know if its legal to bring home sw snail and hermit crabs
I know corals are protected so thats out .
so if anyone could point me in the right direction i would be greatfull:snshne:

Welcome to RS! I doubt anything live without papers is going to be allowed, and you may get more than you bargained for if its "found" lol, have a good trip. Steve

I don't know the correct answer to your question but I do know that P.R. is a U.S. territory and you don't have to go through customs. You might look at shipping your stuff back FedEx. I know that FedEx shipps alot of live stuff around the country...

I'm not at all sure about the legality but you would almost have to ship them back to yourself do to the no liquids or gels rule the airlines now have. Unless you were brave enough to put them in your checked luggage.
Personally I wouldn't try it with snails and crabs. They are pretty cheap here and I would just avoid the hastle.
