Green star polyp question

I sliced off a peice of my green star polyp mat and rubberbanded them to a rock. They open fully every day,however, I wondering how long they should take to attach to the new rock. One person told me one or two days, and someone else said two weeks. Anyone done this lately. My water conditions are very good. I just don't want to take the rubberbands off to early.

dont even worry about the rubberband...just superglue it on a rock. itll work better. the rubberband has too much chance of constricting thr tissue possibly leading to infection

I agree about the super glue (but use the GEL!!!!!!)

To answer your original question, I would think closer to 2 weeks.
