Green algae on glass?

I wanted to ask about some light green algae that I’m getting on the glass of my 45 gallon tank. I seem to have to clean my glass on a daily basis and wondered if this is normal. I’m running a 20” Current USA, Nova Pro light with six T5 bulbs (3 white & 3 blue). I’m running the lighting sequence as follows.

Morning is Dawn/Dusk lighting (2 blue bulbs) from 7:00am – 10:00am.

Full lighting (2 white +1 blue) is from 10:00am – 7:00pm.

Evening lighting (2 blue + white LED’s) from 7:00pm – 9:00pm.

Late Evening (just white LED’s) from 9:00pm – 11:00pm.

At the end of this cycle all the lights go out until the next morning. Do you think my algae problem is a result of my lighting?

Thanks, David:fishy:

What are your water parameters? How much/often do you feed? what type of water do you use? (r/o, tap, etc.) How long has the tank been set up?
And welcome to RS :)

My water chemistry is as follows.

Nitrate – 10
Nitrite – 0
Alkalinity – 250
PH – 8
Salinity - 1.023

I feed my fish every day with just a small pinch of New Life Spectrum pellets and the coral every second day with half a cube of H2O Life frozen coral food. I’m mixing all my salt water with RO water and the tank is only about 6 weeks old but I purchased my live rock from an aquarium that was already cycled for years. Definitely have some nice color on my rock.
