one thing to consider, goni's and elegance corals come from unclean water. they live in murky nutrient rich environments....basically the total opposite from how we set up out tanks. they need food and lots of it.

doni feeds heavily, but also skims heavily and does religious waterchanges.

I've taken to changing the water every 3-4 days (10-15% each time). I've added some cheato to the fuge and have pods coming out the wazzoo right now. I have to change my socks every day. I think I'm going to have to make more quick.
I started spot feeding cyclopeeze and oyster eggs... Hopefully this goni will make it. I've pretty much changed everything except the aquascape in my system in the last month to try to bring this little guy back. I just hope the upward trend continues.

Perfect that's what they need and should do very well if proper parameters are kept. There's also a food mush recipe in that link I gave ya that you can also use.

i would pull the socks completely and use them once a week for a day. keep the pods in the tank.
