getting some frags today..

i'm getting some frags from a local guy...but i dont know what to feed them..
a close friend gave me a brand new bottle of:
-SeaElements Julian Sprung's Reef Formula
-MarineSnow Plankton Diet
i have calcuim ( Tropic Marin Bio-Calcium )
is there any other food/supp. i should be lookin for?

PS: they are mostly gonna be softys...and i'm plannin to add like 4 small frags..

depends on if the corals are photosynthetic or not...do you know what kind of corals they are?

nice i used to have yellow polyps like that ended up tradin em in after i snip'd some white polyps off n got a ric heh

All right.
Your frags just need light and good water quality!
It is not necessary to feed them and if you do just be very careful. It is very easy to mess up your water by over feeding.
I speak from experience. I have a 12g with a skimmer.

They look great. I am looking forward to watching them grow.

with a 14g i would probably only get a single clown unless u get tiny juvi's and then when they get to big u take em to ur lfs for credit but thats up to you heh

OH I also got a hammer coral, two heads...real nice

Just go slow with adding live stock.
Give your tank a couple of weeks to adjust to the new bioload between corals.
It is best to give the nitrifing bacteria time to grow after you have added some livestock and before you add any more.

You can due two clowns but I would wait until your tank is a couple months more mature. If you do get two fish you have to keep a close eye on ammonia, nitrItes , and NitrAtes. Also you will need to do 10-20% water changes EVERY week. That is how I did it and still do!
I see you have a skimmer. Im not familiar with the Oceanic line.
Does it pull a lot of foam? and is it a really lovely dark greenish color?

it skims a lil wet...but it pulls grean ish yellow tea like water/foam

what leather coral should i get?
