Get Crab out of LR

Quick question... How do I get a hitchiker crab out of a piece of LR? I have the basket ball sized piece in a bucket of fresh water. The rock has some common brown mushrooms on it, will they survive? The crab is completely wedged into the innardes of the LR and I want him out alive. Thanks for all replies ad help.

suspend the rock over a bucket, and pour seltzer water on the crab. if that doesnt work, let the rock sit out and he will need to get to the water to keep himself moist.

Thanks Wit.. All I got is beer... the rock is now out of water, trying to "air him out"

Reminds me of a road trip in high school where we saw dolphin playing in the water. All we had was beer and 151 rum and I was screaming feed them feed them.

after a bad day of fishing (still better than working) we gut loaded a pelican with left over bait. the greedy bugger couldnt fly he was so stuffed.
