Fragging Favia Brain

I was wondering if anyone knows how to properly frag favia brain? I have a huge piece of red & green favia that i want to frag.. let me know!

All you need is a dremel or hack saw. Just cut it into the pieces that you want. Just try to make as clean of a cut as possible. The dremel is a better choice if you have one.

and cut through the whole rock or just cut through the coral?

Through the whole rock if possible. That way you are not removing the coral from its base. If you were to cut through just the coral and then try to "peel" it off its rock you would most likely kill it.

You could try to chip it, but you may crush/bruise the tissue in the process
