Zapconj I am not sure of the exact age of the fixture or bulbs as I was given the fixture when a fellow reefer tore down their tank. I've been running for 1 month and it's helped my chateo to take off (literally) I'd guess that the fixture is over a year old and the bulbs less.

The skimmer is available and for 20 bucks more u get the Oceanrunner, it say that it's rated for up to a 250 gal but I have on a 100 and probably wouldn't go over 125 with it.
