I recently had to dose my 20g reef tank for flatworms. What i wasn't expecting is for my perky pearly jawfish that i have had for 3 months and was happy decided to eat some of the dead flatworms. :smack: Well they turn toxic after death so it caused the fish to get toxic and die. I'm very sad! Everyone that i've talked to about that fish have had no success and here i was with a healthy and thriving one.
So word to the wise, take care in having to use the salifert flatworm exit, or any pest ridding chemical, when fish are involved. i would recommend placing any fish in a backup system until tank is cleared of the worms or pests.
