fish query

Hi, apart from the clean up crew, I only have 2 Domino Damsel fish in my tank, both are medium size approx 2". I'd like to add 2 small clown fish to the tank; will they be ok with the Damsel fish, or should I try to get medium sized Clown fish?

According to the compatibility chart online they should be fine together. If you see any bullying right away you might need to take some of the normal precautions, like rearranging rock work to remove any sense of territory.

How large is your tank?

Both species of fish tend to be very territorial. You need a tank large enough to give them some space. I recommend larger clowns, more or less the same size as the dominoes.

I'd say that your asking a lot of a RSM 130 to keep 4 fish that are clowns and damsels. This is not something that I would say no, don't do it, but I think I'd opt the trade the damsels in on the clowns, and go with something less territorial.

OTOH, it just might work out. However have homes available for the fish, if things don't work out
