FINALLY my new midas blenny!!

I've been waiting months to find one of these locally that was a quality fish. YAY!! I'm soooo happy!! Pics aren't great because it's hard to get focus in QT, just a little something to go with this thread

Thanks, I like the way the midas blenny swims, looks like an eel in its movements.

No, not venemous but they'll nip at other bottom dwellers if they're in a small tank.

canary blennies are venemous. Midas blennies are mimics. Every saber toothed blennie species has a non venomous mimic species

Better picture of her coming out to eat. She changes color when she eats, darkens with a bit of brownish stripes. It's cool!

In fact I love them enough that I have two.
Great fish and there is nothing cooler than watching that little face peek out from the rock.

They have the neatest eyes! Seem to have quite a bit of personality!!
