Fin Rot

Can I treat fin rot in my main reef tank? My Mandiran had it plus in a qt he won't have food? No other fish seem to have it.

I treat nothing in a qt but that's a toughie with a mandarin. Can u keep chaeto full of pods available n shake into qt as needed?

Never ever treat a reef system with medications to treat a fish disease. You'll do a lot more harm than good. Remove the fish, put it in a QT tank, and treat there. If your mandarin will only eat life pods, you have to make arrangements for that too, but most fish can go for a week or two without feeding.

Just order a couple of bags of pods from marine depot. Then QT and feed as needed...

And BTW, I'd order a bag a week, just to make sure they were alive at feeding time.

If you can keep the pods in another tank (sump) in chaeto they will multiply. Easing the cost of additional pods.
