Fiji led

Hi all, I have just fitted a Fiji led to my tank and now looks awesome. Are these lights ok to be left in all the time are is it better just to have them on for a couple of hours a day?

Sounds like an Aquaray.

This can't be left on for 24hr.

It is an aqua ray, I have put it on a timer now to come on for an hour after the main lights go out. Do you think this is ok?

Just looked it up. Nice looking strip. Can't think of a reason not to let them stay on for an hour or two on either side of your main lights going on/off. As long as your tank gets enough "dark" time as well.

I wouldn't use it as a moonlight, all night. How you have it set up is fine though.

They can add a nice colour to the tank if on with the main lights, by the way.

You could run it an hour before the main lights, during and an hour after.
