i have purchased a clown tang a couple of weeks ago. he is eating very well on the green seaweed but nothing else. i have tried mysis, and brine shrimp also but won't eat it.has anyone had long term survival with these fish, if so what types of food are you feeding these fish. he is in a 180 gal reef with a pair of clowns, and a red sea sailfin, and a ton of corals. water quality is exellent
thanks for the help

A good, constant source of both red and green seaweed.

Tangs are herbivores in nature and rarely eat anything other than the algae they constantly graze on. In captivity they often adjust and opportunistically eat anything we throw in the tank... Long story short, make sure that you are feeding a significant portion of seaweed at least once per day with twice or more being preferred...
