Ecotech Radions- Height above water for 180g??

I have a 180g 6x2x2 ft , I have 3 new Radions , mixed reef with Tukani live rock. I'm looking for people's experiences at what height above water has worked for them. Thanks

With lighting there is no really hard fast rule. I'd start them on the high side, about 18 inches, since it's new lighting. Then adjust them down as needed. Like a lot of other things it's a "double edged sword". Lower and you tend to get the light concentrated, but may also get more heat in the tank and more algae.

I run mine about 8 inches from the water on my 120. I started the intensity low until i found a good spot for my corals.

What kind of corals are you trying/hoping to grow?

I'm going to start out at 11". Ill be growing mostly lps with a few sps. I have a rsm 250 now so ill very slowly transfer most everything over...
