Dual Membrane RO/DI Upgrade-great move

Been watching the waste water coming out of my system and was getting a little weary of the 3-4 to 1 ratio that it was producing. Every 5 gallons of water I made I also was throwing away 15-20 OUCH
Since I have a pressure pump I decided to get the Dual Membrane kit for my Filter Guys unit. I installed it today and now I am at almost a dead even 1-1 ratio. If it stays this way I will be saving loads of water going down the drain.

Jug on the left is my RO/DI water and the jug on the right is waster water for the same amount

65lbs of pressure in to the unit
TDS in 134
TDS out 000

Great upgrade for anyone thinking about it.

The same if it was just 1 membrane.

TDS readings coming out will go a lot higher
Water production slows back down

Are both signs one may be going bad. Typically they each should last a few yrs under the right conditions and amount of water produced. Keeping filters changed as required and using pre-filters and flush kits all work to help keep them working well.

The upgrade has worked WELL. Now that my units have purged all the air and have run water through I can fill a 44g brute can in just a few hrs now with 0 TDS water. Much better production than before
