the drop in alk has seemed to slow, here are some pics. of rock after one week with gunge added starting to see algea on rock

Good news on the Alk. Looks like you are going through a diatom bloom. Do you have a clean up crew in there?

Cool beans. They will be happy for a while. Let me know how the grunge works out or you. I thought about getting some a while ago but didn't find to many people who have used it. It will be interesting to see how it works.

just thought I'd share a few pics. of the new rock I made, the rock in the 100gl is doing good still having to work with alk but pretty stable now
